The halls were quiet as a light blue haired girl walked along them, humming about to herself before she looked at a sheet of paper. “Chase Nohansen? Hm I wonder where I could find him” she said before she wandered into the kitchen only to bump into a brown haired male who seemed to be cleaning up the place. “Oh I’m sorry I didn’t see you there, what are you doing?” she asked as the boy stopped what he was doing.
“Well someone left the silverware out, the trays are not put away, everything is a mess” he rambled on while Lana just blinked at the male. “I see, well I’m Lanayru, nice to meet you” she said before she held out her hand to the male. “Chase Nohansen” the boy replied in a somewhat friendly yet skeptical tone before Lana’s eyes lit up. “I’ve been looking for you, I have a gift for you” she said before looking around and realizing she must’ve dropped it somewhere.
“Only I can’t find where I left it, do you mind helping me?” she asked as the boy straightened something out before looking back at her again, replying with a small nod. So the two started out on an adventure, well after cleaning the kitchen, trying to find the lost present that had mysteriously vanished from Lana’s hands. During that adventure however they chatted, talked about why they were there at the school, and discussed other random topics before they made it outside.
Deciding to split up and meet up back at the entrance again, the two drifted apart before meeting back up with no luck from both parties. Around this time it was getting to be dusk and both parties agreed to go inside when a thought struck her, and so taking his hand she led him to a small tree in the living room where she saw the present on the couch. “Here we go, here’s my gift to you” she said as he took it and opened it, the present turning out to be one of her favorite books that she had gotten when she was at home a while back. With joy and thanks the two embraced in a hug before they sat down and continued talking, soon getting up to make some cocoa, that is until it ripped open and spilled everywhere.
By the time the cocoa was cleaned up, and the kitchen re-cleaned, it was late in the evening as Lana brushed some hair out of her face and chuckled at the situation, and before looking at Chase again. With some motivation she got up from the floor and proceeded back into the living room where she sat down and invited him to sit next to her or at least with her before they went back to conversing once again. It wasn't until the morning light that they realized how late it was and decided to part ways, but made sure to find each other again, just so they could chat and talk about books.
But the one thing that Lana was glad for was that she made another friend, she was glad she signed up for this event and waved goodbye to him before she headed up to her room before flopping on the bed and falling asleep, awaiting what new and exciting adventures the next day would hold.
